Day 12: Bridge Builders

A bridge connects two sides and crates a safe place to travel. They make it possible to span great distances that once seemed impossible. One of the greatest divides we face in our lives is the distance between one another. Competition, comparison, division, misunderstanding, create rifts between us that prevents us from learning from each other.

God does something powerful when we open our hearts and hands within the process of life and allow others to help build and to build together. The gap begins to close, and a connected pathway of understanding and respect is created between the two sides. The water between people may be deep, but it is possible to begin to bridge the gap by laying a foundation of love and honor.

What would it look like for us to be bridge builders together? To look honor and celebrate the other across from us? To truly lay down our personal agenda to serve another, a bridge begins to form and take shape.

Father May we build bridges together, to sow into each other goodness. To cultivate something far better and to dream wilder dreams together and to build a bridge between the gap between us. Thank you that your spirit is one of unity and truth and may your foundation of love be the thing we build upon today. Amen.
